my god what is up with all the falls on the ice this olympics! 3 of the top 5 ice dancing pairs bit it... and a bunch of the solo men figure skaters earlier this week
i've never seen such a thing...
see my thread on the bone breaking, fracture inducing skates that none of the sports orgs will help fund research on... could be related.... -

Tue, February 21, 2006 - 1:47 PMLOL yeah.. the announcers kept saying they'd never seen anything like this--a skating pair so pissed off at each other after a mistake that they let it drive a wedge between them
i must say i've only seen pairs be supportive of each other after something like this...
and that they way they were acting was jr high level bullshit... grow up already!
i mean, they had to skate together again... and how well could that go the way they were feeling and acting? sheesh
and yeah, the jumps and throws are the main difference, but in dancing they are literally dancing... i mean, they have to use a rhumba, a waltz... their required elements are to do with dance moves... they can never be more than 2 arms width apart... that sort of thing...
